Citrix Installation anhd different versions
Citrix Platinum Edition was installed on a server into an existing Advanced edition Farm and the user license is infact for Advanced edition on the Citrix License Server. If I go into the Access Management Console on the citirx server and choose "Set Server Edition" and change to Advanced will this be ok or will I have to rebuild the server with the Adanced edition CD and start again ?
Thanks
Thanks
Changing the edition to Advanced is all you need to do.

Thanks but what is the point in having a different CD for Adanced/Ent and Platinum ? Is the content the same and the license the only difference ? Surely Platinum has a richer set of features ?
Also Ive noticed that the server that is the wrong license version (which I need to use the set option to change) isnt allowing me to publish any apps to it, infact the option isnt even in the menu ?

The difference between editions is the features. Plus the Platinum Edition gives you client licenses for a couple of extra goodies (Edge Sight is the one that comes to mind).

Ok so just to confirm that even though the farm consists of 8 servers running 4.5 Advanced edition, if I set the two new servers to that version it would cause any problems in the farm ? and will the options to install and publish applications magically appear once I set the version ?
Thanks
Thanks
