Hello,

I am using the mysql LOAD DATA INFILE command but some of the data in my delimited file contains slashes and or quotes etc.  When I run the LOAD DATA command mysql strips the data of the slashes.  How can I prevent mysql from stripping/dropping the slashes?

Thank you.

I would look at this article: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/load-data.html

I think properly using the "Enclosed By" and "Escaped By" parameters could be your answer.
