Like most search engines, I believe they index/crawl sites on their own to provide users with search results. &nbsp;Now, that's just for the song files that come up in search results. &nbsp;Much of the information that is shown in the results (links to Amazon, Song/Artist data, etc.) is likely pulled from web services, API, etc.. &nbsp;The links to search on other sites are just dynamically generated from your search terms, based on the URL structure of those sites (ie: wikipedia.org/yoursearchte<wbr />rm).
