Removing Calendar entries that reappear

I have a client that has tens of thousands duplicated entries after a certain date in their outlook calendar. If i look past this date (Oct 2007) outlook runs very slow and it take about 5 - 10 mintues to respond.
We have tried programs that removes duplicated events, it did remove them but all the events came back.
Any suggestions about how these are coming back? He does have a mobile sync'ing with exchagne, but i have confirmed that the server wins, so it should be replicating what is on the server. The issue was there before we sync'ed the mobile.

I would still be pointing the finger at the mobile device. The items have probably been touched in a way that makes them look like a duplicate.
You haven't said what the device is, but I would reset it and then remove the duplicates.

Does anything else touch the mailbox? CRM for example? They can cause this kind of duplication when they touch the object.

    Accepted Solution

mailbox recreation and import of only required items fixed.
