How do I prioritise VOIP voice traffic on a Billion router
Hi,
I have a Billion BiPAC 7402NX router ( http://www.billion.com/product/3g/bipac7402nx-wireless-11n-3G-ADSL2-vpn-firewall-router.html ) and a Linksys SPA2100 VOIP adapter with two phone lines.
One of the 4 ports on the router goes to an unmanaged switch to which several computers are connected. The second port on the router goes to the voip box.
We have a fast ADSL-2 connection and mostly everything works fine, however sometimes when there's network congestion or multiple downloads, the VOIP phone lines perform badly.
What can I do prioritise VOIP traffic. Specific instructions for my router will be much appreciated.
Thanks
