We have a fast ADSL-2 connection and mostly everything works fine, however sometimes when there's network congestion or multiple downloads, the VOIP phone lines perform badly.<br />

What can I do prioritise VOIP traffic. Specific instructions for my router will be much appreciated.<br />

One of the 4 ports on the router goes to an unmanaged switch to which several computers are connected. The second port on the router goes to the voip box.

We have a fast ADSL-2 connection and mostly everything works fine, however sometimes when there's network congestion or multiple downloads, the VOIP phone lines perform badly.

What can I do prioritise VOIP traffic. Specific instructions for my router will be much appreciated.

How do I prioritise VOIP voice traffic on a Billion router

Voice over IP (VoIP) is a methodology and group of technologies for the delivery of voice communications and multimedia sessions over Internet Protocol (IP) networks, such as the Internet. Other terms commonly associated with VoIP are IP telephony, Internet telephony, broadband telephony, and broadband phone service.
