What database properties.. ??? table it contains

SHOW TABLES FROM db_name;

Create database syntax

SHOW CREATE DATABASE db_name;

>>something like when was the db created and few other thing?

I'm afraid to say there is no SHOW DATABASE STATUS command exists to check database creation date or related details( last modified etc).. but you can check this kind of info for table using SHOW TABLE STATUS etc

This is all about SQL commands... but from OS level I guess you can check.. when the folder ( created on DB NAME) was created/modified etc

What else details you are looking for database? pls let me know
