Duplicate Messages in Outook 2003

I'm just finishing up a domain (server 2003) to domain (server 2003) migration with exchange 2003 to exchange 2003.  I have 2 servers left to migrate one of them being my only domain controller left in the old domain.  Everything is working fine, I've taken down the old exchange server and replaced it with the new box.  I migrated the mail using exmerge and then set up new profiles in Outlook to connect to the new exchange server.  Mail sends and receives mail just fine.  The issue is some pieces of mail are coming in duplicate, triple, etc up to 5 and sometimes 8 times for one message.  I'm not sure if this is an outlook issue or exchange issue.  But I check with tools in exchange at a user who complained and according to what was delivered it seems that message was only delivered once.

Is there any way to stop all the double, triple, etc messages????

I had the same problem, for me it turned out to be Symantec AV on the Exchange server.

Are you using any AV on that box?
