Internationalization problems with UTF8 IIS and custom errorpages...
We run sites in many different contries and now the time has come to
also include languages do not use the latin charset.
We then have to move to UTF8. So far no problems.
But or entire site structure is build around the custom 404 error page principle.
We use the path as a navigation/command variable , so for instance the page
does not exist but "redirects" to www.site.com/404.asp?command=look_up&variable=james_bond
However with UTF comes a whole bunch of characters like "M=F8:;>?548O" and when i try to write the query_string for
48O i simply get: "404;http://localhost:80/????????????
All UTF characters is replaced by question marks.
How can i combat this?
