Hi,
I have been hearing about session memory limit in windows 2003 but couldn't find a concrete answer. Can someone help to know what will be the default session memory limit on a windows 2003 enterprise SP2 32bit server? I read in Citrix articles that changing the value of SessionPoolSize will increase this memory from say 16 or 32 to some other value?
Thanks

Since XenApp services run on top of Terminal Services, what applies to terminal services applies to XenApp.

According to the Terminal Server Resource Kit chapter on memory:

"... all user-mode processes think they have a 2-GB user-mode memory area to themselves."

The authors take 14 pages to explain how memory is used in a terminal server.  Trying to wrap it up into a one paragraph answer is not easy.

I am fine to go over 14 pages to understand it if i have reference to those pages.

Windows Server 2008 Terminal Services Resource Kit pages 44 - 57.  95% of what they talk about also applies to Server 2003.

he..i know about this and did go through the pages in 2008 resource kit online but that talks more in general and doesn't mention about any limit as such on a per session basis.
