Print Queue filling up with Deleting - Printed

I have one printer, that is installed locally to two different print servers that will not clear the document out of its queue.  All the documents for the given day are sitting in the queue with a "Deleting - Printed" message after the doc.  I have this being cleared out every night with a script that deleted the spool files, but if I reset the print spool during the day without clearing out the spool file, every document in the queue will print again.  What would cause this.  Server 2003 SP2.

Wouldn't that cause every printer to act this way on the server and not just one printer?  I have about 15 printers installed on these servers and only ONE printer does this.
Find the spool file for the printer and check its properties.. see if it is marked read only.  If so we can go from there.

In c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers

Drivers is grayed out read only

From that article, does it want me to actually delete the Printers folder out of the spool?

Found the solution!

CAUSE = HP Print Processor HPPRN05

SOLUTION = Change print processor to WinPrint.  Stop the spooler and delete
all files in the spool.  Restart spooler.
