HELP! Installed SQL 2008 Express and now all users are locked out

HELP.  Yesterday I installed SQL Server 2008 Express on our 2003 Windows Small Business Server.  The installation "seemed" to go ok and asked for a restart after the install.  We waited until noon today to restart.  Now since the restart none of the users can connect to the server.
ANYBODY have any clues on what's going on?

do your users connect through windows authenticated or sql authenticated? did you created the logins for the users in your new server? server logins and db accounts are different and both should be created and assigned some privilages... What error message do you get when you try to connect?

    A) Window Authentication
    B) Yes.  Using Server Management Console in Windows 2003 Small Business Server
    C) We can't get SQL Management Studio Express to successfully install and run.  After installing, we were prompt for a restart but due to business reequirements did not restart until lunch today and no one has been able to connect to the network server since.
    D) The drive or network connection is unavailable -- make sure the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available and then try again.

ensure that the data files can be accessed from the server.

They can be accessed from the server.  Our Systems Engineer just left.  The problem was that the Server Service had an error in the login module (and something else I can't remember).  He stopped and restarted the services and we're back online.

Thanks for your help  :-)  WHEW.  What a day.
