How can I export my MS Money data into quickbooks pro?

I have not used money for many years; however, you may be able to import some information by exporting the data from MS money into an IIF file.  I think money will only export into qif files; therefore, you would then need to change that to a IIf file

You could try the following to convert the QIF file and try importing into a test file.

Yeah... Looked into that idea but it's a PITA becase MS only exports accounts one at a time and i really fear data loss. Thank you for input. I do have "QuickBooks convertor" but it does not seem to work. I guess I will bit the bullet and call them to see what's up

if you plan your conversion, you should not have any data loss,   You have your records in MS money; therefore, try importing into a test file and see if you get the same answer.

To convert a Microsoft Money file to QuickBooks:

   1. Download and install Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2009:
         1. Visit the Microsoft Office Accounting Express 2009 Download page and enter your e-mail address in the Enter Your Email field and then click the Download Trial button.
         2. Click the Click here to start your download now! link to begin downloading Office Accounting Express 2009.
         3. Click Run in the File Download window.
         4. Click Next in the Microsoft Office Accounting 2009 Setup Wizard window.
         5. Click Next in the Destination Folder window.
         6. Click Install in the Begin installation window.
         7. Click Finish in the Installation complete window.


   2. Convert the Microsoft Money file to Microsoft Office Accounting:
      Note: Microsoft Money must be installed to perform the conversion process.

         1. Open Microsoft Office Account Express 2009.
         2. Click Remind Me Later in the Activation and Registration window.
         3. Click Cancel in the Customer Feedback Options window.
         4. Click Import Data from Microsoft Money.
         5. Click Browse in the Convert from Microsoft Money window and select the Money file to import and then click Next.
         6. In the Migrate Accounts window, select the Migrate checkbox for each account to import and click Next.
         7. In the Migrate Payees window, select the Migrate as Vendor or Migrate as Customer checkbox for each payee to import. If a payee is both a vendor and a customer, select both checkboxes. Click Next when finished.
         8. Click Next in the Select add-in packs window.
         9. Click Import in the Data Pending Migration window.
        10. Click Finish in the Data Migration Completed window.
