Restore back up of sql 2008 serevr databse in sql 2005 serevr

I am using sql 2005 server and my client system they are using sql 2008 server.I got the back up of database from client which is related to sql 2008.now i want restore it my system.but i am using sql 2005.I am getting error when i am trying to restore back up of sql 2008 serevr databse in sql 2005 serevr .Is there any way to do.

No, you can't restore a backup from a higher version of SQL Server on a lower version of SQL Server.
Backward Compatibility is there by default but forward Compatibility is not supported.

If you are dead set on it, I think your best option is to selet the database in the Object Explorer in SQL 2008,
right-click, select Tasks->Generate Scripts.In the options dialog enable everything, including Script Data.
And make sure you select "Script for SQL 2005".

try taking a backup changing the compatibility mode and restore that in SQL 2005, just guesing not sure if this will work.
