Integrated Services: Customising sysdtslog90

Hi there

I am putting the SSIS log into SQL Server.  I would like to customise the sysdtslog90 by putting an extra data that come from the VARIABLE within the package.

So my question is this possible? How do I do that?

Thanks

Yes... update the stored procedure sp_dts_addlogentry that is generated by SSIS.
Follow the images to understand the environment.
Helped?

I've been using and configuring this logging. But let say I've modified the sysdstslog table as well as the stored procedure. I assume that something that I would like to have an extra logswithin in my package, I have to run this stored procedure using script task ... correct?

Thanks

Also, can I rename this table and this stored procedure but then how the PACKAGE know which DTSLog stored procedure needs to be run? Where that definition sits?

Thanks
