Hi, i want to include the google analytics code in some pages without using the normal javascript. I want to use it on a mobile site and in my newsletter. Does anyone know how to do this ? I am not concerned about screen size or browser info, i just want to know how many people open a page.

I was hoping this code would do it but i don't see anything.

You can track the clicks in your email by using Link Tagging with Google Analytics URL builder for you links
    URL builder:
    Link Tagging:
Tracking open rates is a little more difficult because you need to use an image and track the amount of times it is viewed.  A lot of people open their emails without enabling the images, so you really need to serve a different image for each email.
With a bit of coding you can use .htaccess to rewrite the image URL and then use a scripting language (PHP) to grab the image name, record it in a database and serve the generic image.  But if that is what you want to do, you should repost that specific question in the apache and PHP zones.
Google Analytics works on the higher end mobile phones.  Theres a thread in Google Groups with some of the major phones supported:
To track the rest you would have to do the same thing as your email.  Use a tracking pixel and count the number of times it is open.
You could also use PHP to call a page in your on your site, say, but not display it, when a mobile device is detected as the browser.  That would be enough to track the page views in GA.

That question you will probably need to ask in the ASP zone.
