How to allow users to install flash as power users??

my user cannot not view flash on websites on the internet.  how do i fix this through group policy??  what happens right now is when users go to a site that has falsh they are prompted for active x and then when they click on it it just gives more information.  i do not want the users to be administrators of their computers so how do i accomplish this through group policy??  maybe create a software installer package but how would you do that with adobe flash when you run it off the site??

"Computer Configuration and User Configuration, in the Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer\Internet Control Panel\Security Page\Local Machine Zone

1. Download Signed ActiveX Controls                          Enable (Don't select Prompt)
2. Download UnSigned ActiveX Controls                      Enable

Reference :- www.quantrimang.com/download/ebooks/mangxpsp2.doc

automatically install the ActiveX component without requiring any user intervention if both enable...."

  1. You shoud sign up for a Flash Distributable license here http://www.adobe.com/products/players/fpsh_distribution1.html
  2. After you get your license, deploy the MSI via Active Directory or SMS
  3. Once deployed, your users will be able to update the ActiveX Flash plugins

Problems using Powershell and Active Directory?

Managing Active Directory does not always have to be complicated.  If you are spending more time trying instead of doing, then it's time to look at something else. For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Discover why

how long does it take to get a license??  i made the changes in the gpo for the active x like you said. i did both on the computer and user configuration. is this correct??  even if they are power users and not administrators of their computers will they be able to see the flash now with these settings??  also i did see where i could goto user config/windows settings/internet explorer maintinance/security/security zones and content ratings and i can change active x settings in there, would i need to do something there??  awesome help

Under 30 minutes by email.

The ActiveX settings will not work for this issue.  I have tested it.  You need this license and after deployment, the users can then update the Flash ActiveX via the browser as deemed necessary.

That just means you have been granted permission by adobe to distribute it for your company.

The best method is to deploy Flash via machine configuration GPO

This is the best and most efficient way rather than giving admin privileges to to users.
