I am using reporting services 2008 and database on sql 2000. I have to export the report data into excel. The report contains 367 columns ( matrix report and columns are dynamic) But when I export it fails stating column limit is 256. Excel 2007 can accomodate 16000+ columns. How can I specify to export into excel 2007.
Thanks for the help....:)

    Swami Varahagir,

    How are you doing?

You need to export to .xlsx (the ???x part of the file name distinguishes between 97-2003 and the new 2007 format). Otherwise, .xls format (the defacto standard in Excel) is the very limited (256 column) version.

    Hope this helps,
