Fault Tolerant RAID causes "Unable to Determine Guest Operating System" error during hot clone.

If the source machine uses Windows software mirroring, the import will fail with the error message, "Unable to Determine Guest Operating System."

You' would have to break the software mirror before running the conversion.

New VMWare Converter just came out give it a try, install directly on the physical box, shutdown sql services and try to push out.

If fails download Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery and install on server.  Turn off sql services, image server and shut down.  Use vmware converter to convert image to a virtual machine, vmware converter knows it as a native format.
