You can't generally Copy and Paste files between the host session and a running VM using the clipboard... and you wouldn't want to either. The easiest way of doing so would be, on the host, to browse to \\VM-name\C$ in Windows Explorer. This will give you access to the VM's C: drive, and would allow you to copy and paste the data directly using Windows Explorer.

Replace C$ with any other drive letter in the VM followed by a dollar ($) sign to access another drive.
