Visual C++ Runtime Errors with Adobe 8.0 Standard

A user is having an issues with Adobe when the open up multiple PDF files they get a "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error.  Program: C:\program files\adobe\acrobat 8.0\acrobat.exe

We get the Microsoft error report that says send don't send

I get that window closed and then I get the runtime erro again with a R6030 -CRT not initialized

which version of PDF reader you are using?

use the latest version and test whether it works

I'm on Adobe Standard version 8.0, If I need to upgrade to version 9.0, I will need to shell out some more cash.

I'm sorry we are not using Adobe Reader, but Adobe Standard, the last time I checked it was running 250.00

Looks like the issue was related to a freeware utility called MultiMon.  We also had a person using Ultramon and they were having issues. Once we removed the Multimon the issues seemed to stop.
