Publishing My Docs and My Computer

Hi everyone

Ok so for the last 3 years i have been using the following to publish My Docs and My Computer in meteframe 4.0.  This has worked great for us

C:\WINDOWS\explorer2.exe /e,::{450D8FBA-AD25-11D0-98A8-0800361B1103}

C:\WINDOWS\explorer2.exe /n ,::{20d04fe0-3aea-1069-a2d8-08002b30309d}

Now we are moving to Xenapp 5 and 2008 server 64 bit.  In my Dev when i tried publishing My Docs and My computer it only works intermittenly.  Somes times they open or they start to open and then just close

so i have tried using iexplore instead, which actually i perfer

c:\program files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" P:\
c:\program files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -e ::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

But i get the same results sometimes My Docs or My Computer opens, but most of the time it starts to open the it just cloes the sessions.

Anyone have any ideas

My current set is:
Xenapp Enterprise 5
Server 2008 64bit
Xenapp plug-in 11

thanks

Luis

I have found that by launching the the iexplore.exe via a batch file or vbscript usually works better, by doing so you give the system time to register the running application as valid and not close the session thinking the user has closed the session.
A batch file as simple as this should do the trick (save as a cmd or bat file):
@echo off
"c:\program files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -e ::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}
sleep 10

Or you can do the same in VB below (save the VBscript somewhere such as C:\CitrixLaunchScripts then publish the script as the published application.

dim cmd, WshShell

cmd = """c:\program files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"" -e ::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}"

Set WshShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
call WshShell.Run (cmd,8,true)
set WshShell=nothing
