I cannot print to Adobe Acrobat Pro 8 from IE

When I try to print an Internet Explorer page(s) to Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.1.2 it hangs up. The printer status shows "Spooling" but it never finishes. When I try to delete the document it shows "Deleting-Spooling" for several minutes before finally clearing the document. I've reinstalled the program several times all to no avail. Any suggestions?

Installed Adobe Acrobat Pro update and that seems to have solved the problem.

What Windows version are you using? and Service pack level?
Do you have problems with other printers on the same computer?

I'm using XP Pro x64 Edition, SP 2

I don't have problems with any other printers on this computer.

Thanks

is it the same if you for example print a "Test page" or a simple notepad document? I see in the screen dump that you are printing a web document (just to verify that its not a network issue)
if you look in the C:\windows\system32\spool\printers folder (spool folder) do you have a lot of documents there? especially with older dates on them?

It does the same thing regardless of the application I am printing to. I am able to print to my local printer and to several network printers, just not the Adobe PDF printer.
