I am trying to install and Epson TM-T88iii receipt printer onto a Windows XP computer using a parallel to USB adaptor. The printer is a parallel printer and the computer that I am using only has USB ports. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Have you installed the printer driver? Does the USB adapter come with any drivers? If so, have you installed those? If the adapter is set up, you should be able to select the USB port from the ports list when you install the printer driver.

I did end up getting the printer to print from windows. Now the POS company is working on getting it to print from within the software. That is not wanting to work now. Thanks for you assistance. I will close this question.
