Okay, so i find out that if i change the Group from Domain Local to Global, i can see the Groups now on my member server. I only have one domain, can anyone explain why it is this way?

I just brought up a new member server into our domain, and i am the admin. I want to share some folders on the drive, but when i go to the Sharing tab and try to assign my permissions, none of my security groups show up, i only see the OU names. What am i doing wrong here?
