Is it possible to use Web Interface 5.1.1 on a Citrix XenApp 4.5 server farm? Has anyone done or tried this, unfortunately in my lab I have it running on a XenApp 5 environment but my customer has XenApp 4.5.

Not that I know of. I don't believe that you can run a newer web interface. However, I could be wrong.

    Accepted Solution

    Yes it will.

    XenApp 5 (2003 & 2008 x86 & x64)
    PS 4 for Unix
    PS 4.5 for Server 2003

    Assisted Solution

Yes you can, in fact XenApp 5 For Windows Server 2003 does not include any server side updates. The core server install uses Presentation Server 4.5 with Feature Pack 1 install.

This is similar to the error described in my previous Article, but with a different source problem and a different solution. When trying to scan and stage the ESXi 6.0 updates using VMware Update Manager, we can get "error code 90"
