Gmail: Unlabelled Mail

Is there an easy way in Gmail that I can find all email which doesn't have a label applied to it?

The only method I can think of at present is to exclude every label using -label:<my label> -label:<my next label> but with many, many labels that will take some time.

Thanks for any insight!

    Hello tigermatt,

The only way to search for unlabel mail is do what you suggested, -label: -label:

Many users have asked for an easier search term, but Gmail Team has not provided a solution.

    Hope this helps!
