I have a client with a newly installed reconditioned Ricoh 1027 experiencing a problem with scanned documents.<br />
<br />
Using ScanRouter V2 Lite(Version 2.0.6.0), Save as windows File, Multipage PDF, going into a share on a workgroup computer. &nbsp; <br />
<br />
When the document is scanned the transmit is almost instant with increments of %50 then %100 almost instantly, a PDF is visible in the share as expected.<br />
<br />
However the PDF is always 2kb in size and when you open it, it's just a blank document.<br />
<br />

A Document Management System (DMS) is a system (both hardware and software) used to track, manage and store documents and reduce paper. Document Management

A peripheral device is defined as a computer device, such as a keyboard or printer, that is not part of the essential computer (i.e., the memory and microprocessor). Peripherals

An image scanner is a device that optically scans images, printed text, handwriting, or an object, and converts it to a digital image. Hand-held scanners, where the device is moved by hand, have evolved from text scanning "wands" to 3D scanners used for industrial design, reverse engineering, test and measurement, orthotics, gaming and other applications.
