hi there any help appreciated.

I have a client with a newly installed reconditioned Ricoh 1027 experiencing a problem with scanned documents.

Using ScanRouter V2 Lite(Version 2.0.6.0), Save as windows File, Multipage PDF, going into a share on a workgroup computer.

When the document is scanned the transmit is almost instant with increments of %50 then %100 almost instantly, a PDF is visible in the share as expected.

However the PDF is always 2kb in size and when you open it, it's just a blank document.

help!

Here is the reason:
Due to a scanner system limitation, sometimes the Scanner SP modes are not set to the
defaults when the scanner option is installed or when the scanner firmware is updated.
This results in blank scanned images.
So, please do a memory clear for the scanner application (Copier SP5-801-009) when
installing the scanner option or updating the scanner firmware.

Enter service mode, by clicking in sequence the Yellow key 1 0 7 and in the end press and hold the red key until the display changes. choose Copy SP then click SP direct and input 5801009 and execute, or follow the menus (5)MODE - (801)Memory All Clear - (009)Scanner application and execute.

Note that this the sevice menu. Don't change anything else, or you might damage the machine.

Exit service mode, turn off the machine, wait 10 seconds and turn it back on.

Go to the scan router administration utility, in the I/O devices remove the machine and add it again.

Test, It should be working fine.
