I have been using Backup Exec 11d for quite sometime now with now issues.

In the past few days I have been recieving an Error Messageas follows:

Error category    : Resource Errors
Error             : e000846b - The resource could not be backed up because an error occurred while connecting to the Backup Exec for Windows Servers Remote Agent.
Make sure that the correct version of the Remote Agent is installed and running on the target computer.

For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-33899

I  have made no changes to the Server or Backup Exec 11d, any solution to this problem?

There could be many reasons for this error

Please refer to the articles below for more information and resolution

"The resource could not be backed up because an error..." (a000846b HEX or e000846b HEX) or "Media servers cannot completely protect remote Windows-based..." (a000847d HEX or e000847d HEX) when backing up a remote computer

When running backup for the local drive on Windows SBS 2003 server, job fails with the following error.
Final error: 0xe000846b - The resource could not be backed up because an error occurred while connecting to the Backup Exec for Windows Servers Remote Agent.
Make sure that the correct version of the Remote Agent is installed and running on the target computer.

After installing Windows 2003 Service Pack 1, the server cannot be selected in Backup Selections, or the backup/restore job fails with: "The resource could not be backed up because an error occurred while connecting to the Backup Exec for Windows Servers Remote Agent."
http://support.veritas.com/docs/276250

After decommissioning or renaming/removing of a remote server, the Backup Exec job log reports that it is unable to attach to server.

Is it possible the machine was down at the time of the last backup?  Were there any network issues?

Last backup (previous) was completed and done, but BackupExec give a Failure Error even if one file has not succesfully Backup, hence the Error Message recieve as earlier mentioned.

I have no network issues and no indicated on the event view as well.
