Microsoft event id's 8506, 9555 and 1008 when moving some mailboxes in Exchange 2003 w/sp2.

I ran Isinteg -s servername -fix -test alltests which fixed thousands of errors in the Folder Test but I'm still getting event ID 8606 Unable to move mailbox.  I'm moving them from one storage group to another on the same server.  I don't have another Exchange server.  I was able to move several hundred other mailboxes successfully.

A few things you can try:

    1. When you ran ISInteg - fix, did you run it until it reported NO errors, warnings, and fixes, or until the numbers no longer reduced? Running it one time isn't enough if it reported that many fixes. You can see an updated report after each run of the warnings, errors and fixes in the isinteg.pri file it generates.

    2. Download and run PFDavadmin. In here, you can select the mailbox you're having the problem with. One of the click-able (right-click, etc.) options is to "check DACL state". If bad, click to repair it. Then try the move again.

    3. Make sure you have the following hotfix installed:;EN-US;885414

    4. Export the mailbox to PST - Delete it and recreate it, then import the data

I ran the ISInteg utility until there were no errors in all of the tests.   Since I have only 5 mailboxes left to move, I will move on with item 4.  Thanks.
