In this case the problem was down to my error. &nbsp;I didn't have a CD drive configured for this VM. Doh.<br />

I have done a system restore into a VM from a backup of a server that was not a VM<br />
I neeed to reinstall VMWARE Tools but using the menu item in teh console doesnt invoke the install process as normal for some reason.<br />
<br />
Is there a way I can force the Tools install or an ISO on the host I can mount ?<br />

Cannot install VMWare Tools into VM
