To give you some background:
I've installed SCCM 2007 on a server running Windows Server 2008.
As part of the install WSUS 3.0 SP1 has to be installed.
I was having a problem with being unable to install the SCCM client on a few pc's in my collections folders.
When i went to Server Manager, expanded Roles, and selected Windows Server Update Services i noticed many error events detailing that basically all web services were not working.
Having looked for answers on the internet i saw many answers that pointed to a permissions problem on the WSUS install folder for the Logon account for the Windows Update Service.
When i looked at the Windows Update Service, it was using the ' Network Service ' account to logon.
Anyway having tried to use different accounts for the Windows Update service i've decided to revert back to using the ' Network Service ' but am unable to do so.
When i try and add back the  ' Network Service ' account to the Windows Update Service i now get the error below when trying to start the service.
Am i correct in thinking that i should be leaving the password blank for the ' Network Service ' account ?
If not, how do i change the password for this account as i do not know the old one.

Here's the error when trying to start the service:

Windows could not start the Windows Update service on Local computer.

Error 1079: The account specified for this service is different from the account specified for other services running in the same process.
