I apologize I went back and reread your question. It looks like you want to completely disable the offline address book am I correct?

If so I dont think this functionality is built into the MS ADM template files. So you kind of have two options.

    1. Create your own ADM file
    2. Use the custom installation wizard from the office resource kit to remove the offline address book. I did a real quick run through and it looks like this is what your looking for.

If your feeling brave and want to attempt to create your own ADM file this link may help. I have never tried this though.

If I disable the offline address book will the Outlook Client contact the Exchange server to resolve names listed in the GAL?
