Team NICS in 2008 Core Server

We are installing Hyper-V on 2008 Core and are having trouble with the NIC configuration.

Does anyone know how to team a Broadcom BCM5708C NetXtreme II GigE for failover

Hello ncartwrightt2systems,

I believe for the Broadcom NICS, you can use BASPSCfg. This is part of the driver installer package. I found the utility in the following installer package (extract and browse to ..\Driver_Management_Apps_Installer\BASPSCfg folder - there is a readme file in there that will give you the How-To / commands) http://ftp.us.dell.com/network/Bcom_LAN_12.4_W2K3_8_64_A03.exe (64-bit) / http://ftp.us.dell.com/network/Bcom_LAN_12.4_W2K3_8_A02.exe (32-bit)

For the Intel NICS, you will need to use some scripts that can be found on the following page: http://www.intel.com/support/network/sb/CS-029966.htm
