SATA Hard Disk File Recovery

Hi, I hope you can help me out.  I have a computer (computerA) that is having some booting issues.  I would like to take the SATA drive out of ComputerA and put the drive in ComputerB so I can copy files from the drive.  I haven't worked with SATA at all.  Any Suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Harv

as long as you have an available sata port in the second computer you just plug it into it, then start up the pc and pull your files of... no different then eide.

if you want to recover all files from your SATA disk, try to use filescavenger application. hope this helps.

in the mean time (providing the disk os ok) you can use darts to run a repair, or recovery on the drive :

before doing that, i would test the drive, to be sure it is ok ; download the diag you need from :
