Restore GRUB Get Linux back after Windows Install

Hi,

I was running Ubuntu 8.10 on my computer.  I had to install Windows and the GRUB was wiped out.  How do I restore the GRUB to get a dual boot system?

the guide above is too complicated.. for anybody with the same problem, here's an easy tutorial... it took me about 20 seconds after I booted with a live CD

You are right, but the guide you have pointed to, is exactly a copy of  the first 5 points of the full guide I have suggested....
