Outlook message recall repeats failure notices

My client recently tried to recall a message sent from her Outlook, and now she and the recipient of the original message are getting recall failure notice 10 times a day.  My client is using POP3 mail, but she did not know that she could not use message recall.
I have checked with the POP3 mail company, and there is nothing wrong on their end.
I requested both my client and the recipient of the original message to delete all associated mails, which they have, but they keep getting the notices still.
How can we stop these notices?

Check that SP3 is installed:

Then, Have user close and re-open outlook with
Start>Run>Outlok.exe /cleanprofile
