Citrix and Domain Controller

Hello dear experts
I want to install a Citrix solution in an organization that does not have domain controller in all branches some has DC some doesnt, my question is that is there any necessity that all users (workstations) be a part of DC if they want to use Citrix in future or not?
Thanks

Not really.  BUT all users will need to authenticate into the Citrix server(s).  So wherever you have your Citrix servers, the users will need an account.  It can be a local account or a domain account.  Your decision.

If you decide to do local accounts then the "domain" will be the name of your Citrix server.

You mean that users can login in the workstations locally (not in DC) and addressing the server URL from browser and start working normally by using their domain username & password in the login page of Citrix?
