DFS Replication Windows 2003 R2 Staging Area size

I made a change to the registry in order to increase the staging area size.

If I recall it was 675000Kb in size by default. I increased it to 2000000 and restarted replication.

My replication failed again due to the staging area not being large enough.

Do the servers need a reboot for th changes to take affect or am I missing something?

    Accepted Solution

You should use the DFS management console to modify the staging area size. You can also use it to generate a health report.
