Picking up audio from Skype

My son is interviewing his grandfather who is out of state and we are trying to do this on skype .  I am using CaptureWizPro to capture the video but the only sound it captures is from the headset mic.  The sound coming from skype/computer is only being picked up a little.  I have also tried to use Nero 9 waveeditor but it to only picks up the mic and not the sound from the computer.  Does anyone know of a way that I can pick up the sound from both the Mic and Computer at the same time?

Thanks,

Gabicus

Have you checked the audio advanced options. on your taskbar open the volume then advanced open recording
and tick to use Line in and Mic etc Apply put it back onto playback
Maybe your mic is cutting out the PC speakers when you plug it in.
This is actually normal since playing both may cause a feedback noise, a workaround is to use only a mic and PC speakers not a headset.
So you have video capture ok?
Capturing audio with video can be a bit problematic if the wav settings or mid settings are not adjusted right

Dirtpatch-Jenkins,

Well PrettyMay is a bust.  I have version 4 of skype and now my skype keeps crashing.  even after I uninstalled both PrettyMay and Skype then reinstalled Skype.  Once I can get this working again I will try the skype plug in.

Merete,

Thanks for the reply.  This is the did work but not as well as I would have like.  I think this is more an issue with the software working in Vista.
