I have OCS 2007 installed, one frontend server and an edge server. The question I have is how do I configure our external DNS SRV records as our external DNS server is hosted on Linux and using a web page (Control Panel) I dont seem to have the option to add SRV records?

Many thanks.

    Accepted Solution

You can configure a host record of sip.<> if your external DNS provider won't support SRV records.
The clients failing to query _sip._tls.<> will fall to sip.<>.  Just make sure your Access Edge cert either has the subject name of sip.<> or sip.<> listed in the Subject Alternate Name list.
