RAC setup

Hello experts,

i am planning to setup RAC at home. i have two desktop computes at home. is it possible to setup RAC with two machines.
i have couple of questions.

i am using oracle enterprize linux as operating system.
oracle 10.2.02 as oracle software
i need some help on networking. how do i connect network and i am planning to storage.
i have internet at my home.

what are the thing i need to buy,
how do i setup networking between the hosts and storage?
can i use external hard disk as storage?
plase advice me.

With Oracle, I am pretty sure you can use attached storage for the database container, however don't expect to run the OS off external storage.
Setup the network like any old standard setup.. but make sure you static assign the RAC machines.. this is most important for a consistent communications Link between them..
With the oracle setup, I'm pretty sure it allows you to run a Cluster (Key word CLUSTER)  configuration.

i am new to RAC, that is the reason i am asking help from other. i am not sure how to setup network on linux. can any one help to setup two machines on network.

what are pre reqs to setup two machines in network

Okay, firstly what Linux are you specifically using, is it actually a distro BY oracle?
you need the machines to both have NIC cards, and a switch or cross over cable to run between them..
Once you have done all above let me know.
