In the LiveCycle forms designer, I am trying to program the text box to automatically shrink the text typed into the form field in order to fit the contents in the predefined box size. I don't see any switch to perform this action. I think it's the auto-fit check box but I don't see it in my options. Is this feature available in this version? I have an Adobe document that performs this action so I do know it's possible.

Here's the document I'm trying to emulate. If you type in one of the single line boxes at the top, you'll notice the text shrink to fit.

Tried the object properties and there's no option to shrink to fit for the text form field.

Found the answer.

Just open the font palette using Shift-F4 and set the font size to zero. Check if "Values" is selected by right clicking on the > button, and selecting Values.

The text will then shrink as the box fills.

Another way to do this is by changing the size in the XML editor to "0."
