Oracle applications manual startup / shutdown procedure for single-node
Startup:
1. Log in as the database owner and source environment variables
iptest2#su-oravis
oravis>../d02/oracle/visdb/9.2.0/VIS_iptest2.env
oravis>cd/d02/oracle/visdb/9.2.0/appsutil/scripts/VIS_iptest2
2. Start database server
oravis>addbctl.shstart
3. Start Net Listener process for the database server
oravis>addlnctl.shstartVIS

Shutdown:
1. Log in as application manager and source environment variables
iptest2#su-applvis
applvis>../d01/oracle/visappl/APPSORA.env
applvis>cd/d01/oracle/viscomn/admin/scripts
Note: At this point you can stop each process individually by using the start up steps (in reverse order) or stop all applications server processes using the following commands:
suapplvis
applivs>./d01/oracle/visappl/APPSORA.env
applvis>cd/d01/oracle/viscomn/admin/scripts
applvis>adstpall.shapps/apps
