Pervasive SQL version 8.60.192.30 install errors

I have installed Pervasive SQL version 8.60.192.30 and the installition goes through just fine. when it comes time to test the relational and transactional test they fail. Now this is testing the files created by the install and have worked on other machines. The database is being stored on the local machine. The OS is Windows XP Pro service pack 3. I have attached the PSALog file and screen shots of the errors Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Try your application and ignore PSA for the moment.  If the PSQL engine doesn't have the sample data in just the right place, it doesn't work.  If your application works but PSA doesn't, I wouldn't worry about it.

You can also try using one of the PSQL utilities like Function Executor to open the files or PCC to open / create the database.

The status 11 is "The specified filename is invalid." It can be caused if the file isn't found or of the DDFs aren't correct.

What's the application?  The error number "21011" doesn't match to a PSQL error.  If it maps to a Btrieve 11, then it's still an invalid file name.

Check the application to make sure that it's pointing to the correct data location including the DDFs and the data files.

Try the Pervasive Function Executor to open one of the application data files.  Does that return an error?
