How to set up distribution share on win 2000server

I would like to know how to set up a distribution share on my win 2000 server so that I can load MS office on the server and have my clients (2) on my home network be able to access the program. I currently have a peer to peer setup currently. What are the steps involved in doing this?

You don't generally run applications from the network in this fashion. Applications - particularly large ones such as Office - require registry entries and custom DLL files on each PC you have to run it on. Executing from a network drive is not feasible, as the original setup would not have been executed and as such the necessary files will not be on the workstations.

Instead, you need to install the application onto each workstation in turn.

If you wanted to have the application run from the server, you'd have to look into either SoftGrid or TS RemoteApp technology.
