when I send emails with attachment in outlook express with attxxxxxx.htm
when I send emails with attachments using outlook express in windows xp, the recipeient cannot open attachment and all he sees are att????, when he clicks the att file, it does not even open. in my settings I selected plain text only and it is still not solving the problem. If I send email with say 3 attachments, the person receiving will get 3 ermails and not one and with att. as attachment.

I have 2 computers in network. Both computers are using outlook express 6.0 and both are Rich Text format. I only have the att....htm problem with one computer. I shouldnt have to change to text only and I dont think this is the solution as my other pc's outlook express is working perfectly. Using the text only is not attractive and boring to see. Majority of users using outlook express have the RTF on as we get to see formats and easier to use than plain text.
Cleaned all files in my temp directory. Deleted everything. But there is these files called PERFLIB-PERFDATA70.DAT PERFLIB_PERFDATA154.DAT, PERFLIB_PERFDATA450.I cant delete them as it says that it is being used. There is nothing open, all programs closed. How do I know what program is running these files?
Is it safe to keep deleting the whole temp directory. When is it safe to do this and when not.
thanks
