    yes but how to get that console, you gotta run the program first, that is exactly what I dont like to do, I wont to test the function without having to hit F5 to compile the application

    I can't completey follow. You have a method, procedure, ... in your code. you want to test it without running the complete program ? If so, I think that you'll need to perform some unit test than.

    I found it here
    but that unit test is a good idea for VS08 as it started to support them.
