Data Recovery from Raid Hard Disk

Sir,

i installed server on raid hard disk with raid 0. Now OS crash. Can i mount these hard disk in another server with same configuration for data recovery. Pls tell me how to recover data from raid supported hard disk.

It depends what storage software was used - Symantec Storage foundation should allow the import of the disks, and Windows has a cut down version of same software.  However, I'd be more inclined to trust something like http://www.runtime.org/raid.htm if the data is important to you.

You need to have the same controller
RAID 0 has no redundancy, so you need all the disks to be working,otherwise you loose ALL data.

DO you have backups ?

What died on the server, the motherboard ? te Controller ?

I have the same controller on another server. Just plug the hard disk in bay and mount that i have to do or else process. Pls tell me

Depends what happened on the first server.

The drives need to be put in exactly the same locations as the original

Can i mount these hard disk on another server with same configuration. From where can i copy my data. There are six hard disk provision. Three are running with windows server 2003.  Three are empty. there i can put these hard disk. Can i do that pls suggest.
