push out a host file for  the new users, until you find a better way to resolve this.

I hope this helps !

i don't have issue with new users, it is with users having legacy mailboxes then migrated to Exchange 2007, once the user open outlook it must detect the new server name & no need to change it but what is really hapenning  that outlook still keeps the legacy Exchange Server name & they have to reconfigure outlook profile again with the new Server name.

Dears,

the issue is solved, we found that customer shutdown the Exchange 2000 Services, as you know to update the profile first the user will contact the old Exchange 2000 for updating the profile... now we started up Exchange 2000 Services & all users got the new server name automatically..

thanks,
