6t04 adapter problem

Having trouble connecting to the internet on a pc running vista home premium. Checked the device manager and there was an exclamation mark next to microsoft 6to4 adapter. I uninstaller this adapter and then reinstalled it and it now shows up correctly in the device manager however a WAN miniport (sstp) now shows up with an exclamation mark and still i can not connect to the internet, i am running out of ideas has anyone got any suggestions. When i run ipconfig it is receiving an ip address but both IE and firefox cannot load the page

are you actually using IP6?

if you didn't use IP6 or install 6to4 adapter on purpose, i think you may ignore this message, or remove IP6 stack at all, as it is probably a known problem of Vista and W2K8. See the KB article below.

On a Windows Vista-based computer or on a Windows Server 2008-based computer, the Microsoft ISATAP adapter appears with a yellow exclamation mark next to it in Device Manager, and you also receive an error message

hope it helps,
